If these photos are blindingly bright, I apologize! The sun was setting when I finally got around to leaving the house and all of the photos were super dark. Of course, I had to wear colors that would totally make that situation worse. Haha. So yeah. I had to do some tinkering with the brightness and contrast so that the different layers of the outfit could be outlined. I hope you can see everything OK.
It was the perfect time of day for my glow-in-the-dark rabbit tee. :D It started to glow almost immediately and it was actually dark enough for the glowy bits to show up in the photos. Pretty sweet, eh? <3
I decided to just keep things simple (but interesting) with the t-shirt and lace maxi skirt. I just hiked the skirt up over my boobs to make it look like a lace dress, then I layered the tee over it. I framed the whole outfit with a dark coat and wore faux over-the-knee sock tights so that just the skin of my thighs would show through the lace of the skirt. The buckle boots kept it edgy and the bright orange hat supplied a nice little pop of color (and a riff on the whole carrot orange + rabbit theme). :P
It had been a full day of studying for me. So, my partner and I decided to pop out for some fresh air and a late coffee before dinner. We walked a few blocks down to a hip cafe where I sipped a cortado on the outdoor patio and watched random people and cars pass by while the sky grew darker.
