Since I'm leaving the country, I'm trying to squeeze in a couple extra blog posts, since I don't know when I'll be able to resume blogging after the move. Normally, I post every Tuesday and Thursday, but I did an extra post, yesterday (Sunday) and I'll do another extra post in about another week on Sunday. So, if I blow up your blog feeds in the next couple of weeks and it's annoying, my apologies. Hehe.
Just trying to make the most of this old blog before things get a bit more silent around here. Oh and speaking of making the most of stuff and things, I decided to make a list of things that I love about my city and that I'd like to experience (either again or for the first time) before I move away. I still have a lot of things to do in that regard, but I did manage to go to one of my favorite brunch spots on the day these photos were taken. As my partner and I were leaving, a woman stopped me and said that she loved my outfit and that I looked 'beautiful.' I was like..... <3 o_O O_o <3 Things like that don't happen often. I don't think any words other than 'Thanks' squeaked out of my mouth. So, Yeah. That was rad.
After brunch we went to an ice cream stand that was just a couple blocks away and had the most amazing fresh ice cream. I will certainly miss living in a dairy state, let me tell you. Hehe. *^_^*
So, I hope you like this little Spring green and yellow outfit. I like the mix of textures and the vintage vibe. I know that the gnome socks don't really match the overall color scheme, but oh well. Haha. They're pretty adorable and I think they looked great with the shoes. They're a gift from my sponsor, Sock It To Me. You can pick them up for just $12. They've become a fast favorite. I love the print!
