Oh, don't mind me. I'm just getting rained on. Yeaaaaah. This is like a common occurrence during the summer, now. I don't know what gives. Funny thing, though. The drizzle lasted for about an hour and then the clouds parted; blue sky emerged; and the sun shined bright for the rest of the day. Wtf, man?!
Talk about bad timing. I should have just waited an hour, but I was hungry, bro. I wanted to go eat brunch! T_T Anyway, after stuffing my face with crepes, I was too full to try to retake the photos, so this is what you get. Hehe. Sooo, the inspiration for this ensemble comes from music. Jazz, in particular. <3
This outfit is missing a trumpet case. Am I right? Haha. It's the kind of outfit that I would wear to a jazz joint. I can see myself getting settled in at a table in a dark corner. I'd stare into the tiny candle in the middle of the table only to have my trance interrupted by a server inquiring about my choice of poison. Normally, it would be a gin and tonic, but instead I say, "Jack and Coke." Keeping her on her toes. ;)
Speaking of toes, check out these bad boys. >:D~ I haven't worn these cap toe loafers in forever! I'm so glad I opted to wear them instead of my black wingtip loafers. The latter would have been just fine, but the former adds a nice punch of color and texture. Note to self: Wear these shoes more often!
