I get so much comfort from earth tones. <3 They just *look* warm and inviting. Hehe. For this outfit, I blended mossy green and different shades of brown and cream. It was a beautiful day for a walk and quite warm so, after breakfast, my partner and I took a stroll down to a nearby java joint for cold drinks.
Since, I was feeling guilty (for some reason, I dunno) about all the relaxing I had been doing over the weekend, I brought some study materials along for review. My partner, not wanting to look like a total slacker, brought his laptop and did some work, also. *shrug* I can't relax. It's hard, especially when I have so much going on. I'll relax when I'm dead. Heh. Also, how can I relax with people constantly staring at me? Haha. You'd think I had two heads, the way people gawked. Honestly, having something, anything to focus on, helped. Otherwise, I might have left the coffee shop a whole lot earlier.
Oh, can I just say how happy I am that I bought these tights when I did? I knew I wouldn't get to wear them often, because they're kind of crazy, I guess, but man, I just love them. With the right outfit, I think they just really shine in a most interesting and unusual way. Without them, the outfit would just be "OK," in my opinion. I will rue the day when I happen to rip them, as they're not exactly easy to repair. T_T
After having a very productive and only somewhat relaxing coffee shop excursion, we made the long, slow walk back home where I could slip into a onesie and lounge on the couch free of prying eyes.
