Back to black, again. I just can't stop. Heh. I always try to keep things interesting and I make no exception for monochromatic outfits. It's easy for everything to just look like one note when you have a dominant color scheme. Hence, I played with textures and fabrics to create a mix of matte and shine.
I'm a huge fan of blue/black pairings, so the addition of the bright teal socks felt like a no-brainer. Normally, I wouldn't have rolled my cuffs so high. I probably would have left maybe an inch or an inch and a half of color showing, but I had to show off those heart munching sharks. Such a rad print! <3
For a final surprise, I just unzip my jacket and reveal more textures and patterns. I like the perforated pattern work on the sweater, but it goes without saying that I needed to wear a thermal underneath. ;)
It's a simple outfit (I've been doing a lot of those. What gives? Hehe), but it's aesthetically interesting with the leathers, knits, zippers, prints and reflective fabrics. Keeping cool and warm at the same time.
