You guys know I don't spam you with sales and promotions. I don't like clutter. However, this info is worth sharing, so listen up! ModCloth is doing a massive giveaway that started yesterday and runs through November 11. If you place an order during this time period you will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of fifty $50 gift certificates, one of two $500 gift certificates, or the grand prize: a $1,000 gift certificate + a VIP styling session! That's a lot of gift certificates and as you can imagine, tons of people will be placing orders. So, all I can say is: "May the odds be ever in your favor." Haha. If you were going to buy something anyway, then the resulting giveaway entry is just a cherry on top. :D
There's more! Starting today through November 12, ModCloth is having a sitewide 25% off shoe sale! The gift certificate giveaway ends on November 11, so now seems like the perfect time to make a purchase. I snagged two pairs of shoes, already. Don't worry! I'm still on a spending freeze. I used a gift certificate. Now, I'm wishing I had a bigger gift certificate, though. Haha. It was really hard to choose, but I decided on trying these black wedges and these brown low heeled shoes with tassels.
If I can stuff my size 10 feet into these shoes, I would be overjoyed. Even my black kitten heels hurt my feet, but wedges seem to provide enough support to be comfortable. The black wedges look like T-strap heels from the front, so I'm hoping they will become my staple black "heels." I don't have any really nice looking brown loafers or oxfords. I'm not sure how I'm going to like those tassels in person, but we'll see! Haha. If I don't feel too goofy in them, they can stay. ^_^ I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Here are some other shoes on my wishlist that I've been salivating over for what seems like forever:
Note: I bought these in a size 10 a few weeks ago and they were too tight. By the time I had returned my order, the size 11 had sold out. I was/am crushed. T_T I really love these shoes. They would go with so many things in my wardrobe. I wish the size 11 was still in stock. Here's to hoping it comes back!
Note: I had a similar experience with these shoes. The size 10 was just too tight and the sizing doesn't go any higher than that. Story of my life. They're really cute in person! Between this shoe and the other one above, I would have been set. Instead, the search for perfect brown oxfords continues.
I wear a lot of black and brown shoes. Yeah, I'm boring. Whatever. Haha. I really like these floral ones, though. I think they'd look great paired with an orange skirt. Now, if only my size were available. Gah!
Have fun shopping and have a great weekend!
