These zippered tartan pants are pretty rad, you guys. :DDD I've had similar pants in my wish list for quite some time, so I'm stoked to finally have a pair! I was lucky enough to receive them from my sponsor, Yoins. They're just $18 and they feel like lounge pants. Edgy lounge pants. Hehe. They're so soft and comfortable. I got the size 6 and I think I could have sized down, because the material provides quite a bit of stretch. I wouldn't say they're baggy on me, just comfortably loose. My measurements are low waist 28" and hips 36." The flat measurements on the website seem to be accurate based on the fit.
So, I wanted to let out some of the darkness in my soul and do something borderline upsetting. o_O
I say that, because I know that some people will be miffed by what I'm wearing underneath the black zipper hoodie. >:D~ Also, I just look out-of-the-ordinary and sometimes people can't handle things that don't fit in the little square box marked "normal." I totally kicked that box to the curb, today. Hehe.
I undid the snaps on my cuffs to give a more haphazard vibe to the outfit. The blood orange glasses were obviously added for scare factor. ;D The chunky reversible plaid scarf was more of a necessity than anything else. It was freakin' windy and cold! I chose to show only the white side of the scarf for heightened contrast, though the other side almost perfectly matches the color and pattern of my pants. That scarf is an absolute godsend on the worst winter days. I often bundle it over my mouth and nose when I bike to work in the winter. It's perfect for keeping the snow and cold air away from my face.
Ah, so here is the potentially upsetting shirt that I mentioned earlier. ;P I wore this outfit to brunch and while I was sitting on a comfy couch waiting for my name to be called from a waiting list, the dude sitting across from me kept looking at me. I pretended not to see him, obviously. Heh. I don't take stares all that well. Anyway, when his name got called, he got up, walked by me and said, "I love your shirt!"
I was like, 'Ohhhh. You idiot. He was looking at your shirt!' >_< So, there you have it. At least one person was not offended. I'm going to have to try harder next time. Hahaha. *sigh* Nice guy, though. :D
The scene depicted on the shirt is so good. Haha. I love it every time I see it. <3 For some reason,
I always feel the need to do an edgy style when I wear it. There's just something about it, I guess.
At any rate, as you know, my style is pretty bi-polar. I don't half-ass anything. If I'm going to do something, I do it to the max. So, yeah. I hope this isn't too jarring or anything. Hehe. I wonder which way the pendulum will swing, next week. Your guess is as good as mine. ;P Have a great weekend!
