Hello, hello! *^_^* <3 This outfit is simple, but also awesome (if I may say so)! It's a little edgy and chic. Also, it's perfect for Summer. Yes, it's an all black outfit, BUT it wasn't really that hot AND I had the added perk of being able to pretty much sweat my ass off without anyone noticing. Haha. :DDD

Honestly, I didn't even really sweat that much. :P It was a gorgeous day. I'm starting to think something is terribly wrong. It shouldn't be so consistently temperate in the summer time. o_O O_o Anyway, my outfit is pretty self-explanatory. I wore a sleeveless white top underneath my t-shirt and tucked both of those into a pleated high waisted skirt. I'm also wearing my fedora! Yay! I've been so diligent in avoiding it that I didn't realize how much I missed wearing it until now. Hehe. ^_^ The most interesting part of the outfit is the shirt. There's just something about the print that makes the outfit look better.

Oh and it f*cking glows, bro! :P How cool is that? Haha. This outfit is so comfortable, easy to wear and fun. It was a windy day and I just loved how the skirt would whip around every which way and even form a floating train behind me as I walked. It just made the outfit that much more dramatic and I didn't even have to do anything except..well..move. Hehe. I turned a lot of heads the day I wore this. *^_^*

Thanks! Yeah, that line was used in The Matrix, but this outfit also made me think about Alice In Wonderland and the darker elements of that story. :D <3

Okay, so with this on, I feel like you could be the Goth White Rabbit. You look mysterious, cool and yet... whimsical too. Love that when you see the skeleton, you realize the bunny is about to have a baby (which, rabbits do always seem on the verge of, don't they?)

Aww, sweetie. Haha. I guess the glow in the dark photo didn't come out too clearly, but the skull inside the rabbit belly is cracked and there's a sword next to it. I think there's a different (darker) narrative there. ;D <3

Good call on layering the tee over the collared shirt. I was thinking that they were one shirt the whole time. And who doesn't love a glow in the dark shirt?! I really need to invest in boots like yours. I've got knee-highs and thigh-highs for days, but none at the calf level :(

Thanks, bro! :D <3 Yeah, I feel you on the calf boot situation. That was my gripe for the longest time until I got these (and two identical pairs in different colors). Now, I feel like I'm set where that's concerned, but now I'm obsessed with ankle booties (of which I have exactly one). Heh.

OMG, the shirt is so, so cool! :D The weather was super weird here too, it was pretty chilly for summer then baaam...super hot all of a sudden haha :)) Love your boots, they're awesome! <3

Oh good, so it's not just us then. Haha. It has been raining and thunderstorming on and off for the past 45 days and counting. So, there are days when it's really hot and muggy and others where I'm chilled to the bone because the low is in the 50s and the high for the day was mid-60s. This is the weirdest summer weather I've experience so far! o_O

The shirt is amazeballs (OMG glow-in-the-dark totally nerding out!)! I love the pairing with the white collar. I absolutely need to try that with some of my t-shirts (do you think adding a collar make them work appropriate?! LOL.) as I'm still struggling to incorporate them into outfits that don't involve jeans and a hoodie (that's the Minnesotan in me, desperately struggling to re-assert its un-chic self). :D

And I still ADORE that skirt. I'm pretty sure it's the only hi-lo skirt I've ever seen and actually thought: I want.

Umm, I don't know actually. Haha. I guess it depends on the shirt and your work environment. The first job I had out of law school was really laid back (surprisingly) so I could wear t-shirts to work and it was totally OK. If the shirt doesn't have an embarrassing or controversial print on it, I think you would get away with wearing a collared shirt underneath and a blazer. :P

That skirt looks awesome!! And I'm freaking out over that t-shirt. I feel like despite conventional wisdom sometimes the more clothes you wear when it's hot outside, the cooler you stay. Maybe it's true for the color black as well? xxo!

I like the fact that this shirt has a bunny on it that doesn't resemble Playboy. The g-i-t-d effect makes it extra cool. Oh, those boots and purse are hawt.
