Hi guys! :D I just wanted to share an outfit I had put together over the weekend for brunch. The top is sleeveless and sheer and the skirt is unlined, so I kept cool as the temperatures rose throughout the day. The yellow cardigan is pretty light weight as well. I felt like the outfit needed that splash of color, but I also wanted to make sure that the outfit could stand alone, so to speak, if I needed to remove the cardigan for whatever reason. Overall, I think I looked nice with the cardigan either on or off. :D
As you can see, I also experimented with giving myself a break from the bun hair styles. Instead, I took a stab at doing a bit of a boy-cut look. I like it, I guess. Hehe. I'm not fussy when it comes to my hair.
I'm really happy with this butterfly skirt that I thrifted! It's kind of overloaded, I guess. Haha. I just loved the cloud of insects on the black background. They create interesting patterns in the fabric and you can only make out the butterfly shapes when you look at the skirt up close. So, it's a fun aesthetic twist. Their incessant fluttering just draws your eyes and commands your attention. It's great! :D
The brown embroidered tassel purse is really fun to wear. I don't wear it often, but I really should. The best part about it for me (and the reason why I bought it in the first place) is the multi-colored lining! I'm a huge gaming nerd, so when I saw the lining, I instantly thought of Q*bert for Atari/Nintendo. :P <3
