Omfg. So cute sauce, you guys. Blargh. Hehe. Totally being such a girl or whatevs, lately. If I don't concoct a disturbing outfit soon, I dunno. I might have a break down or something. >_< Haha.
I'm already working on it. It's going to be sufficiently messed up, I promise. >;D In the interim, there's going to be a whole lot of sweetness, I'm afraid. Haha. I love playing with patterns and colors and I have to admit, this is a pretty fun outfit. Super non-threatening and extremely feminine. 0=) Both the thrifted polka dot top and the polka dot skirt are a bit too big for me, but I tried to make them work. The combined color scheme alone made it worth the risk of looking a little bit frumptastic. :P
I believe I ended up wearing this to brunch. Totes appropriate. As much as I enjoy wearing avant-garde outfits to everyday places and watching small children try to chew their food and cry at the same time (not really...haha), there's something to be said about being able to just "blend in" with minimal stares. I'm sure it gives my partner a break. Haha. I always feel overdressed when we go out, as he almost always wears a t-shirt and shorts or jeans. At least, we sort of "matched" each other, this time. ;D
