More vintage coming through! :D Apparently, I got a lot of vintage stuff within the last year that I haven't been able to wear, because of cold weather. o_O This red polka dot vintage dress is another gem from my clothing swap group. I had been looking for a go-to red dress for awhile and I finally got it. ^_^ <3
The dress has so many details that I love. Yes, it has shoulder pads, BUT I love that the "polka dots" are actually tiny white ovules that remind me of rice grains. The cut of the dress is very flattering from the front and there's some unique wow factor in the back. :D When I turn around, you see a set of large, shiny buttons and a double "X" pattern. The buttons are not for show, either. They're functional! In fact, I pretty much have to undo all of the back buttons to get into the dress and then do them back up. >_<
If anyone knows a trick to getting this kind of a dress on and off, please share your secrets with me!
So far, I'm unable to wear the dress without having to beg my partner to do up the top two buttons. >_<
The super cute bicycle tote bag is something I picked up from Forever 21 almost two years, ago. I use it regularly, but I haven't showed it on my blog, too often. I'm still kind of picky about which outfits I'll showcase, because many aren't sufficiently interesting. I love this outfit, though. So, I had to share. :P
You know, I really think I'm starting to get the hang of this whole only wearing one or two pieces of clothing thing. I guess you *can* teach an old dog new tricks. Haha. I hope you're having a good week!
