Soooo, I was actually pretty hungover and I didn't really want to get out of bed at all, but I made myself do it for brunch. Heh. Naturally, I ended up wearing colors that matched the somber mood I was in.
I think I did alright with this outfit, considering that I had kind of just pieced it together in 15 minutes.
I just wanted to wear something that was comfortable, easy to move around in and man repellent, because I had absolutely no desire to engage anyone in idle chit chat. I just wanted to eat something fatty and salty and I sure as hell wasn't going to make it myself. That's craziness. So, my only concern was go to the source of the deliciousness, consume said deliciousness and then quickly retreat.
The nice thing about the outfit is that I could easily cover my torso and the chunky belt by slinging the asymmetrical cardigan over one shoulder. In so doing, the outfit ends up looking pretty subdued and refined. Hence, I could basically get away with wearing this just about anywhere without utterly destroying the sensitive disposition of too many people with my scary studs and sliver of cleavage. ;)
