Hey, check it out! My first completely black on black outfit! :D This is nothing fancy really. Just a high waisted skirt with a t-shirt, some tights and flats. By the way, the umbrella was not for show, you guys. It really was raining, though it had slowed to just a light drizzle at this point. Crazy weather, I tell ya.
As usual, I tried to create more aesthetic interest in this outfit by including a mix patterns and textures. In this case, studs, lace, and netted fabrics. So, those of you harboring acute attention to detail will get a little extra joy out of this post, since I do have some interesting aesthetic morsels to share.
Aside from my super cute and nerdy Threadless tee, I'm also sporting a rad stud belt that I got from Cotton On. My skirt has three sets of loops. I think it actually came with three thin belts, but I've lost track of them. Heh. Anyway, I took the stud belt and put it though the top and bottom loops respectively to give it a slanted look. I basically used the belt to construct an S-pattern around my waist. :P
I also added some fun tights and my new lace brogues from UrbanOG. I like these tights quite a bit. I forgot that I had them, actually. Story of my life. Haha. Too much clothes. So ridiculous.
Next year, I will do a challenge where I don't buy any new clothes for the whole year. Hehe.
