Crepes & Coffee

Oh. Hey! :D I really like this outfit, so I thought I'd share it. It took me no time at all to craft this! I woke up and immediately grabbed the blue sweater and orange plaid skirt. The color pairing seemed pretty natural to me and both items go with just about everything in my closet. I wore a sparkly black blouse underneath, just so the collar would show and create some more aesthetic appeal.

I put on some floral tights which you can barely see. I did that on purpose, because I didn't want the florals to overpower the outfit. I also added very easy to wear pull-on boots. The only downside is that they are scrunchy at the ankles. Finally, I put on a hat, gloves, a few accessories and a jacket, grabbed my satchel, and I was ready for lunch! I see that my hat is a little poofy. Haha. Sorry! I wore my hair in two little buns, which is now I suppose a signature style of mine. I prefer to wear my hair up. :D

...and here is my lunch! It's just something quick and light. I had other things I wanted to get done before the sun retreated to its dark empyrean. I can't resist a good crepe. I can assure you, it tasted just as good as it looks. I should learn how to make these. :P I washed it all down with this lovely latte.

I saw this outfit on Modcloth's Style Gallery and fell in LOVE with it! The plaid skirt's full shape is great and add a sweater and it is perfect. :D

OMG, Emma! Thank you for that article with the recipes! The directions make it seem so simple, but I know that it's hard to get the crepe to come out just right. I will definitely try these out, though! :D

I don't blame you for wanting to wear your hair up; when I had long hair it was always in a ponytail, and ever since I chopped mine all I want to do it stick it in a ponytail to get it out of my face.

I see the octopus necklace has returned! Hello, old favorite :P

I'm really enjoying the pairing you've got going on here. It's so quirky yet seems to fall together naturally. Maybe I'm partial because I love old-lady-esque skirts. Probably not. You probably just look cool.

Ahh, I don't even have as good reasons as you for wearing my hair up. I'm just plain lazy, well, that and I don't like how my hair looks when it's down. I just feel more polished and put together when my hair is off my shoulders. :P Thanks for the kind words! You're always so sweet!

Love this, you're a pro at mixing patterns and prints! Especially love the wolf print sweater and the polka-dotted button collar. And to top it off you had a super yummy lunch...sounds like one great day to us :)
