My partner and I were invited to musical at a neighborhood theater and this is something I quickly put together for the occasion. When I put these two pieces side by side, I thought, 'It's like they were made for each other." Hehe. Many people complimented me and said "I like your dress."
No one caught on that I was wearing two garments. ;P
The white piping on the skirt is my favorite bit. Also, it may not be easy to tell, but the buttons are sewn on and completely non-functional. It's a pull on skirt. :D Both the skirt and dress have a completely plain backside, so it looks like I'm just wearing a black dress from the back, but when I turn around, you get an eyeful of monochromatic quirky goodness.
