Last post of the year! Omfgahhhhh! Totally ready to bid adieu to 2016. Time for a clean slate; a fresh start; a new beginning. To cap off the year, I decided to do something fun, colorful and quirky. <3
Kitty hat, oversized glasses, funky socks and unconventional color blocking---perfect recipe for weirdness. Hehe. It was a bitterly cold day. I think the high was -4° F (-17° F with windchill). Yikes, you guys. Yeah. I would have totally just stayed indoors, except that one of my favorite brunch spots was doing a 'last brunch of the year' kind of thing and I just had to go. Heh. So, I bundled up for the freezing walk there. Two blocks doesn't seem like a long way, but when your face is frozen...yeah. Hehe.
I'm pretty sure I smiled most of the way there, though. I mean, I can't be positive, because it's hard to feel your facial muscles when you're getting blasted with icy winds. Heh. Still, this outfit provided a good excuse to smile. It definitely stood out like a beacon of jubilance. ^_^ Have a great rest of the year! <3
