I'm starting to get the hang of the whole not-wearing-tights-with-my-shorts thing. I still feel really self conscious about showing so much of my legs to the world, but I know that I would look super ridiculous, if I opted to wear tights at such a hot time of the year. Sacrifices must be made. I understand. Heh.
Yes, it was another scorcher. So, you get another super simple outfit. >_< To make it less boring, I combined two bright pastels. I think lemon and lime are quite summery. *^_^* I thrifted the faded yellow submarine tee, but I can't seem to remember where I bought it. I've had it for ages. I snagged the cute green shorts at a steep discount through an annual sale on-line. This is my second time wearing them, since I bought them, last year. The light green is a hard color for me to work with, for some reason. I will try to wear them more often, though. I love the box pleats and the fact that it sort of looks like a skirt. :D
These are my new wingtip oxfords! They're exactly the color I was hoping for. :DDD There was a site wide sale on Amazon, recently, and my partner had planned to buy a bunch of stuff. He asked me if there was anything I wanted and I was like...man. You know, I want all the things. Haha. I had these brown oxfords in my wishlist for a really long time, so he got them for me. What a sweetheart. <3
Obviously, I can't let this go. Yes, it was a gift, but he should get something, too. So, I bought an early birthday present, last week. I'll have to wait a whole month to give it to him, but I think he'll love it. ^_^
