Sooooo, I'm settling back into preppy nerdy vintage granny territory, this week. I can't help myself. The heart wants what the heart wants. You know? Why fight it? Hehe. Letting my inner geezer flag fly. <3
Personally, I find my ability to slide along the fashion scale incredibly amusing. My fashion sense is a total mixed bag---much like my personality, really. I've come to accept that pendulum of uncertainty.
I have to say, that I love the color scheme of the outfit. The mix of browns, navy and tan just scream Autumn in my mind. It's a combination of colors that just makes me feel good when I look at them. It's hard to explain, but it's very aesthetically pleasing. To break up the color block scheme, I added some subtle prints with the pussy bow blouse and llama socks. The blouse is one size too big for me, but I just couldn't resist the over-sized frilly collar and removable sash. Dainty and vintage AF. Worth it. :D
Happy to report that I did very little of substance the day these photos were taken. I got a free chai tea latte, because I had a full punch card at my local java hang out. Yep. The baristas there know me as "the girl with the hair." Yeah. Hahaha. FML. This hair cut isn't exactly an incognito look, apparently. ;)
