Hey! Remember this vintage dress from Tuesday's post? :DDD I've been dying for things to warm up around here so I can style some more items from my Etsy and Storenvy shops. Seeing stuff on a mannequin is cool and all, but I think that some garments require a live soul to bring them to life! :P
The dress will shine no matter what you do to it, really! :D I think it would look fantastic with a super over-sized and slouchy black sweater or cardigan in Fall/Winter. Houndstooth would look killer with this, too! Don't be afraid to mix prints! The material is wool, I believe, so early Spring/Fall/Winter are the best seasons for this dress. The material soaks up sunshine and does a wonderful job retaining warmth.
I can't say enough good things about this dress. Haha. Now, I'm feeling conflicted and I kind of want to keep it. I dunno. I might. It's just that I've been saving up for my teaching certification since the inception of my Etsy and Storenvy shops. I want to get certified this Summer and start teaching law abroad by next year. I'm short on funds, so I've sold quite a few things that I love, these days. >_<
Priorities, right? Priorities. Hehe. Anyway, I felt like such a bad ass strutting my stuff around town in this awesome dress. Stares galore, bro! If you want more details, check it out on Etsy and whatnot.
Man, I am so ready for the weekend! I'm pumped to go for a run and not have to fear totally wiping out on an ice patch in front of everybody. Haha. I hope you all have an awesome rest of the week! <3
