Hallo! <3 *^_^* <3 I'm doing blue monochrome. Again. I know. Haha. *shrug* This outfit is super simple and comprised of remixed clothing and accessories, so this is pretty much a 'what you see is what you get' kind of situation. I won't bore you with details, but I want to point out some fun aesthetic tidbits. :P
Obviously, I wanted to do as much as I could to play off of the color blue, but I also wanted to take things a step further and mix textures and patterns. So, the wavelength pattern in the teal sweater and its chunky vertical lines really spoke to me. I think the sweater worked much better than a solid, patternless top of the same color ever could. I also love the addition of the bright patterned socks. They break up the obvious colorblocking scheme in a fun way. I wasn't sure about the cantaloupe bag, but I really wanted to avoid reaching for the black bags that I've been getting used to wearing, lately.
So, there you have it. Quirky, colorful, maybe even a little unexpected, but 100% yours truly. :P~
