I think this outfit represents my personality pretty well as I am part-goofball and part-frumpy old lady, among other things. :3 Yes, the perfect outfit to wear while spending all day hunched over a tiny desk in an uncomfortable chair in a rather hot library reading very tiny print. Stupid course proposals!
Anyway, where was I? Ahh, yes. Frumpy goofball. So, basically all I did here was some simple color blocking using bright, warm colors. The cream vintage sweater breaks up the colors a bit and draws the eye with its deep blue flowers. It has the cutest little embroidery around each wrist and all around the hem, but it was too cold for me to show you all of that. Sorry! I'll just have to wear it again in the Spring and show the full sweater in all of its glory. :P I'll take any excuse, really. It's pretty awesome!
The only other new thing I'm wearing are these incredible vintage men's leather wingtip tassel loafers. Yes, I'm wearing men's shoes. They're the only shoes that will fit me in vintage sizing now hush! >_< Heh. I'm super stoked to have these and they were only $4.00! I said, $4.00! :D I can't count the number of times I've gone to someone's blog; looked at her shoes; found out the shoes were vintage and then discovered that she thrifted them for dirt cheap. I always think, "Why the f*ck can't I be so lucky? I hate spending a ton of money on shoes." Finally, a little bit of that thrifter luck rubbed off on me! *^_^*
