Hey, dudes! How was your XMAS? Goooooood. Mine was pretty swell and whatnots. :3 I got a super sweet Fjallraven Kanken navy backpack (my first ever omfggggg) and a rad t-shirt that I'd been coveting for a few years (I'm wearing it under the coat. Aww yeahhh boiiiii) and other stuffs and things. :DDD
All in all, it was a pretty chill holiday weekend filled with the usual drunken gluttony and bouts of oversleeping. Yep! 'Twas pretty great, if I do say so and I do. I do say so. o(^__^)o Hehe.
Soooo, can we talk about this navy coat, though? This coat is f*cking amaze. My sponsor, Fashion Mia, was kind enough to gift it to me and I'm super grateful, because I've been lusting after duster coats for a long time. The majority of my coats are short on me, because I'm freakishly tall. This one seems to fit my height perfectly, though. When I wear it, I don't feel like an adult in a child sized coat. Hehe. It's wonderfully sophisticated, too. If I ever go on a job interview in Winter/Spring, this is the coat I'll wear.
The coat is super comfy and warm. The shiny buttons are a beautiful accent, though I have to admit that they are not made of the best material. They feel a bit flimsy, but the coat is only $34.00. Yeah. It's so affordable. I mean, most coats like these are in the triple digits. So, I'm not really going to complain all that much (especially seeing as how I received it gratis). The measurements on the website are very accurate. I opted for the Size Large, after checking the measurements against one of my other coats.
I figured the coat would fit me like a slightly larger Size Medium and it basically fits that way. I'm 5'9" and I have broad shoulders. The length is perfect for my height and I'm guessing I'll be able to stuff a light/medium sweater underneath without any problems. If you're interested in the coat and you want to be able to wear a thick sweater underneath, I'd suggest an Extra Large. My measurements are 34/28/36, by the way. It wasn't terribly cold, so I wore the super cute cat shirt in place of knits. :3
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is one of my favorite outfits of the year. I love the mix of colors; the cat tee is just so much fun; and I look pretty respectable or whatever. Hope you like it! <3
