Meet Suzanne Carillo of Style Files
Suzanne's style is colorful, eclectic, daring and honest. Her style is truly one that she can call her own and in many cases, I find her outfits difficult to emulate. This is a good thing. A very good thing. That element is crucial to rendering someone's style unique.
Her color coordination is fantastic and I really like her layered looks. I also enjoy Suzanne's writing style. She has a great sense of humor and she's always willing to admit where she thinks she might have failed fashion wise. When that happens, she actively seeks ways to correct the mistakes.
I admire this kind of objectivity. Despite the image some super popular bloggers may portray, the fact of the matter is, none of us are perfect. Not even them. We all make mistakes that we (hopefully) learn from. I welcome these style mishaps, because they make my overall style better after a lot of thought and careful tweaking. The thing is, I don't intentionally publish those mistakes. Suzanne does. For that, she has my eternal respect.
Also, you may have noticed that I only post my styles along with the occasional awesome sale. If I've acquired a new sponsor, I'll divulge that bit of info, too, but that's about it.
I'm very to the point and probably to a fault, so I fear my blog doesn't have much in the way of variety. I just don't like "filler" posts. I care most about what people wear and how they wear it, so that's my main focus.
In contrast, Suzanne includes useful and engaging content alongside her style posts to keep her blog interesting. You'll find everything from style inspirations to home decor to photos from her personal life.
This content makes Suzanne's blog more well rounded and it gives you a better sense of who she is and what she values. So, I highly recommend checking out Suzanne's blog. She has a lot to offer! Keep up with her on Facebook and Pinterest, too!
Contact me, if you would like to be featured in my Blogger Spotlight series! I can't make any particular guarantees, but preference will be given to lesser known blogs (i.e. blogs with fewer than 50 followers).
3 out of 12 spots are available for 2014
DO NOT write me and ask how much it will cost to be featured. Those requests are offensive and I will immediately place your emails in my spam folder where they will languish forever.
