Meet Lindsey Dish of The Belted Pear
Lindsey and I found each other on Chictopia and instantly hit it off. I love how she mixes colors and patterns!
There's an edginess to a lot of her looks that I really dig. Take this first look, for example. I would never think to combine sequins with multi-directional stripes. Even if I did, I doubt I'd be able to make the combo look this good!
You'll notice Lindsey wearing the same flats in each photo. Seeing stuff like that makes me smile, because I know I have a few pieces in my closet that are destined for disrepair from constant wear because I love them so much. I don't know why, but little things like that make me like Lindsey even more. ^_^
I love the textures in this second outfit. The black vest seems to change hue based on the lighting so it has this awesome sheen that works with the more subdued glow in the crimson skirt. This is such a simple pairing, but the overall look is quite commanding.
I like how Lindsey wears all of her outfits with confidence and ease. She would definitely stand out in a crowd and I think she would totally bask in the stares. ;D
