Meet Joy of Outfit Zest
Joy is very new to fashion blogging. She has been chronicling her cute and unique outfits for just over a year and, in the short time that I've been following her, I've seen tremendous growth and potential. Joy has a wonderful eye for photography and her photos are beautiful. I remember how my photos looked when I first started out and yeah. Haha. Definitely not great. So, it's nice to see a new blogger who isn't afraid to take outdoor photos (I remember being terrified in the beginning) and who has such confidence in the look and feel of her blog. I think that Joy's style is very down to earth. She has a palpable girl next door style that I think a lot of young women can relate to. Joy expertly uses colors and prints (and artful poses) to elevate her looks and to set herself apart from the masses. |
In time, I also learned that Joy has a passion for ethical and sustainable fashion. She regularly showcases designers who care about the environment and who value transparency in the marketplace. I think this is commendable, especially living in an era of cheap, fast fashion. Also, Joy often shares the outfits of strangers and friends alike as a way of celebrating personal style and creativity. The people she highlights are not necessarily bloggers, but rather everyday people from whom she draws style inspiration. Joy is quite the connoisseur of DIY projects, too. One of my favorite DIY creations and one that I'd like to try out someday is the "candy corn" tights (see the last photo below). The ombre effect looks so amazing! :D Be sure to keep up with this nifty thrifty pre-school/elementary teacher on her blog as well as on Facebook and Instagram! |
Contact me, if you would like to be featured in my Blogger Spotlight series! I can't make any particular guarantees, but preference will be given to lesser known blogs (i.e. blogs with fewer than 50 followers).
DO NOT write me and ask how much it will cost to be featured. Those requests are offensive and I will immediately place your emails in my spam folder where they will languish forever.
