Meet Badia of Spikes Or Studs

I found Badia on Lookbook within the first few months of joining the site and I fell in love with her style sense. So, I've been following her style posts on the site for about two years. If you like bold colors and patterns (and if you're not put off by clashing prints), then you'll love Badia. :D She doesn't confine herself to just one kind of style, like some bloggers. She has a lot of range: edgy, sweet, dolly kei, steam punk, vintage, etc. The outfit on the left is one of my absolute favorites from Badia. I had to add it to my love list immediately when I saw it on Lookbook. Her layering and use of color are impeccable! Masterful. Even the vertically lined, patterned tights work. It's obvious that she carefully chose each piece and thought about their place in the outfit as a whole. The bag and shoes are perfect! |

Although Badia has a love for extravagant and intricately detailed dresses, she also has a knack for styling separates. In that regard, this girl has got mad tee style. Check out the outfit on the right! Again, perfect in every way. The multi-color tee with the collared shirt layered underneath is fantastic. The addition of the dark, lacy skirt adds a feminine flair, but doesn't detract from the edgy, punk vibe that she was going for. Well done! Badia's style is such a breath of fresh air. I guarantee that you will not see anything mainstream or trendy when you visit her Lookbook page. Everything she puts together is new and exciting. It has been a joy to follow her style journey these past couple of years and I look forward to admiring her style for years to come. Keep on rockin', Badia! <3 <3 <3 |
