Meet Karolina of Purpurowa Karuzela

In addition to being an incredibly sweet person, Karolina is a master of detail and a lover of vintage style. I find that she has an affinity for styles from the 60s and she executes them well. Check out the outfit on the left. That coat! Gahhhh. *dies* Perfect color and lapels. Total vintage goodness. The over-sized houndstooth collar really pops and adds to the overall retro feel of the look. Notice that she adds some modern touches with the bag and boots. Karolina has this ability to say a lot with her outfits, but also manages to keep them clean and free of clutter. She doesn't over accessorize and I've noticed that she doesn't wear much makeup, either. I find that Karolina has a pureness and simplicity which makes her style seem effortless. |

You should know that there's more to Karolina than vintage ensembles. She has a palpably dark side that is just as beautiful and well put together. For example, I love all of the layers and textures in this second outfit. Shiny leather of two different colors; matte black cozy knits; square dotted fishnet; spikes and colorful plaid. Wait, there's more! See that peek of florals? Hehe. On paper, all of this sounds insane. However, when I see how Karolina put it all together, all I can do is feel admiration. Well done, madam!
