Meet Charlotte of Captain Ch-ARGH-ley
I would describe Charlotte's outfits as quirky and vintage. Her style is unpredictable enough that you won't be able to guess what she'll wear on any given day, but consistent in quality. She definitely knows what she is doing. That's for sure! One day, you might find her wearing extremely bright colors and patterns as in the photo on the left. On another day, you'll uncover a pitch black maven with attitude like in the second photo. Charlotte wears both looks effortlessly. I love what she does with colors and patterns, though. That's my Achilles Heel. It was so hard for me to choose just a few photos to share, because there were so many that I loved. Ultimately, I had to go with the 60's mod look on the left, because it really deserves to be seen. It's so cool and I could never pull it off! |
I'm enamored with the monochromatic look on the right. It's the complete opposite of the outfit above and perfectly executed. Monochromatic styles are very difficult, in my opinion. The simpler you go, the more attention to detail and the more precise you have to be. Here, Charlotte chose different shades of black to help separate and highlight each piece. She mixed up textures, too, which helps to achieve the same aims. Those black and white shoes kill me every time I see them, too! Omg, bro! o_O <3 Charlotte has a fantastic collection of shoes and bags. As a result, I often find myself overcome with covetous machinations when I visit her blog. >_< Haha. The photos I've shared, today, are chock full of vintage flavor, but as I said, Charlotte has a delightfully quirky side, too. Check out her blog and see for yourself! You won't be disappointed! Be sure to say 'hi' on Instagram and Facebook! |
