Meet Sarah of Princess Audu
Sarah is absolutely gorgeous! I love the photos in which she smiles as it just lights up her entire outfit. Sarah is of Nigerian descent and she is currently studying in Bangkok, Thailand. Words cannot describe how jealous I am, right now. Haha. That is just so cool! I'd love to go there. I discovered Sarah's blog purely by chance. She left a really nice comment for me on my blog and I just clicked her blog link. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Sarah's style is such a breath of fresh air. She doesn't have just one particular way of dressing. Her outfits oscillate from week to week and I like that unpredictability. The one constant that defines her style is bold colors and prints. Sarah puts them together so well and I am envious. Take this first outfit, for example. It's adorable! I love the polka dots with the animal print. I would never think to combine those two prints, but Sarah did so perfectly! |
This second outfit also exemplifies the beauty of Sarah's style sense as well as her creativity. First of all, I wouldn't know where to begin with styling those shoes. They're gorgeous, but I know that I would pass them up at a shoe store and go for a subdued color, instead, because bold colors on my feet scare me. Haha. For this reason, I really admire both Sarah's bravery and her ability to seamlessly work the shoes into a chic outfit. ^_^ Second, bright pink and bright orange? I would never think to pair these colors together and even if the thought did cross my mind, I wouldn't be brave enough to try it out. But it truly is a fantastic color pairing, isn't it? I think each color really compliments her skin tone. These kinds of outfits inspire me and they give me that much needed nudge to delve into unknown territory.
