Aww yeah! I've missed you, Bel-Air. It's good to be back. You've changed, but I still love you. :D This shirt is so rad. <3 I actually wear it quite often, but I don't often *style* it, you know what I'm sayin'? For the uninitiated, what I mean, is that I just normally throw it on without worrying about how it works in my outfit as a whole. However, today, I actually decided to give that issue a bit of thought and voila!
What I came up with is slightly avant-garde and slightly man repellent, but 100% awesome in my very humble opinion. :D Pairing the shirt with florals simply never occurred to me. I really don't know why, because (and I realize this is an acquired taste situation, but) I love how the vintage floral blazer goes with the tee. There's just something about it. Maybe it's the weird, unexpected juxtaposition. I *am* a weirdo after all. So, yeah. I'm biased. Meh. :D I think the sunglasses rounded everything off nicely, too.
I ended up wearing this for a night on the town shindig. It was all my idea, but I roped my partner into it so that I could feel like I was actually being taken out on a date. Have you ever had to do that shiz? I mean, basically take yourself out on a date, because you essentially planned it? Lmfao. Relationships, amirite? Anyway, we went to an improv thing, which was totally hilarious. After that, we got a night cap at a pretty cool distillery. I got rained on, but I was drinking a dark and stormy, so I was happy. ;)
