See how quickly I can go from super cute to back alley grunge? Haha.
I'm a Gemini. What can I say? Janus is my homeboy. <3
I ended up wearing this outfit for Sunday brunch. I know, right? One hell of a brunch outfit. Haha. Like I said before, though, I dress how I feel. Obviously, I felt like layering up and looking grungy. Hehe.
I couldn't wait for an excuse to wear these Old World Map leggings. Holy hell, you guys! They are amazing. Super comfortable and just totally rockin'. I wore the black high-low tunic to show off the amazing prints in the leggings and create a black "canvas" so the cream tones and black outlines would pop a bit more. As you can see, I'm wearing a lot of dark hues, so I added the long heather gray button-up cardigan for some much needed contrast and to differentiate the various shades of black.
Strategic chromatics, remember? Huzzah! That's what it's all about! Hehe :D
I love this little back alley, too. It was perfect, as it fit the mood of what I was wearing. I just couldn't get enough of the pipe's billowing steam, its condensation pool and the "Private Property" sign.
Also, it was super cold, so I was happy to be near that steam pipe! Hehe.
I'm in love with this black sweater shrug, too. It's the best investment I've made in my wardrobe and it was thrifted, so good on me, yeah? Haha :D You can button it up all the way to make a turtle neck, so it's a great layering piece. I decided to wear the top part folded down. The buttons at the side are fully functional and sometimes, when I feel a little claustrophobic, I'll unbutton a few for a little more mobility.
Also, it makes a great scarf! You probably noticed that I scrunched it up and wore it underneath my partially zipped jacket. It's super comfy, warm and incredibly chic. Definitely a keeper!
Thank you for your kindness! <3
