I felt like I hadn't worn anything particularly "granny chic" in awhile and I really felt the urge to frump it up, so here we are. ^_^ Despite the desire to be as frumptastic as possible, I also wanted to continue to experiment with bright colors, avoid wearing any black garments (it's tough for me, so tough!) and to push the boundaries of what is acceptable "winter" attire by donning floral patterns more fit for spring.
Nowadays, it seems the only thing that will get me to leave the house is the promise of a warm beverage and something sweet to eat. Haha. It's like the carrot on a stick. I just dangle the prospect of yummies in front of myself just long enough to get me out of the house and straight to my intended destination. Not only does it get me some much needed fresh (albeit f*cking crazy cold) air, it also serves as excellent motivation to snap pictures as fast as possible so we can keep our legs moving and our bodies warm enough for the journey ahead. The faster we walk, the sooner I get my tasty donuts.
Oh and they were tasty indeed! Also, thank you to the barrista at Outpost Coffee for making one of the best flat whites I've ever had. You are a king among kings, sir. A gentleman and a scholar. I tip my hat to you. Nice bow tie, too, btw. ;) At any rate, how are you guys fairing with the colder weather? I mean, is it just me or does this suck major balls, you guys? Haha. Check out this cold weather protest right in my backyard (so to speak) on Queen St W. 'Hey! Hey, ho! This cold weather has got to go!' >=D
