I knew that I was going to garner stares with this outfit, so I was prepared. Hehe. I think this is probably the brightest outfit that I've ever worn. o_O It's pretty crazy pants, but I couldn't help but feel happy while wearing it. So, every person who looked at me received a big ol' toothy grin. :DDD
The super cute ice cream socks are the only new thing that I'm wearing. Everything else has been worn at least a half dozen times. The thing is, I've never worn these pieces in this particular combination before. That kind of surprises me, because I think that mint and yellow are kind of a match made in heaven. Nevertheless, it has been about two years since I last wore the rainbow sweater and almost a year since I last wore the high waisted yellow skirt. So, I'm happy to give them both some wear. :P
I knew that the outfit would probably look "matchy-matchy" with the ice cream socks, but I didn't care.
I didn't want to introduce any other significant colors, because there's already so much to look at. So, I just stayed with the mint and yellow color scheme and wore neutral brown and black for balance.
I have to say that these socks are really adorable and on the day that I wore them, we went out for ice cream and it just fit the scene so perfectly. Haha. Everyone at the ice cream stand was looking down at my feet (when they weren't looking at my sweater or trying to act like they weren't looking at me at all).
Yep! I actually had a pretty good weekend. The weather was amazing and, on this particular day, I just couldn't keep my happiness inside. I had to show it through my outfit. :D Plus, it's still Spring, right? So, rainbows, blue sky, white clouds and ice cream cones for everybody! Yay! Haha. Enjoy! <3 <3 <3
