This is something simple and carefree that I put together for brunch. Hopefully, this will be a relatable outfit for most people since I imagine many of you will have these garments in similar colors. If you've never thought of combining mint, yellow and orange together, then this should be an easy outfit to recreate or to use as a foundation for a better reinterpretation. I really like this mix of colors. ^_^
The mint polka dot top is one of my favorites. I really should wear it more often than I have been. It's perfect for Summer! I wasn't sure about adding the floral necklace since it is a rather eye-catching statement piece. I received it as an XMAS gift many years ago and I cherish it. So much so that I've worn in only a few times and the rest of the time it is kept in a velvet lined box. The details are stunning! I just hope that the necklace doesn't overpower the whole outfit, as it tends to glow when the sun hits it.
This outfit may not seem like a big deal, but it is for me. I'm terrible at wearing bright colors. It's something I really have to put my mind to, so I'm happy that I decided to wear this combination of hues.
Also, while this outfit may be super simple (and therefore, not something I would normally share on my blog), it still manages to be interesting and, best of all, it satisfies my minimalist style challenge. So, I am really happy with how everything turned out. ^_^ I did get a lot of compliments and smiles the day I wore this, so I must have done something right in that respect, too, yeah? Hehe. Hope you like it! <3
