Inspired by socks. Again. Haha. Awww yeah. The print on the socks made me think of trial and error. You know, testing something out maybe on yourself or someone else in order to figure out something or another. You carry out this test many times, collect data, analyze it and come to some grand conclusion.
A conclusion based on empirical evidence. Hence, the phrase 'a posteriori' came to mind. It's a phrase I haven't heard since studying philosophy in college. Hehe. Anyway, I think that fashion is very much susceptible to trial and error. I know I've said as much in the past and it fits with my own experience.
In that regard, I decided to take a chance and wear the brown/navy saddle shoes even though I felt like they might have been 'too busy.' I was on the fence about whether I should just wear a pair of plain brown shoes, so that I wouldn't detract from the super cute guinea pig print on the socks, a gift from my sponsor, Sock It To Me. :3 My partner said he really liked the saddle shoes and, despite having reservations, I decided to just live on the edge and go for it. Haha. Trial and error, right? ;P~ Cheers! <3
