Translation: Too cold for comfort..

It was really chilly, last week! O_o o_O Summer needs to hurry the hell up and get here, already! I actually had the heater on in the house. *Sigh* Anyway, I had business to attend to, so that's why I'm looking all snazzy. ;) I was determined to avoid public transportation, so I needed something that was classy, but that would also allow me to ride my bike in relative comfort. I decided this outfit would do.

My partner was kind enough to snap these photos of me later in the evening after I got home. :P I love this red/white polka dot bow tie! It's so fun to play with. I feel so comfortable wearing ties. This is just additional proof that I should have been born a man. Haha! I'm pretty sure I could hack it. ;D

I wore an amazing gold buttoned trench coat, so the biting winds did not stand a chance. Screw you, wind! :D I got it on final sale over a year ago, but this is only my second time wearing it.

Also, I must mention that the white/black polka dot "blouse" is actually a dress! I do this kind of thing a lot. I have my reasons, though! Click here to see a different style with the same dress. It's so big on me that it looks like a hospital gown. I miscalculated when I bought it in a size large. Hehe. So, there's no other way for me to wear it, right now. I hope to replace it with a polka dot blouse and skirt, soon.

The beautiful cobalt blue elbow patch sweater is from Oasap. I wrote a detailed review about my shopping experience with them here if you're interested. I'm so happy with the quality of the items I have received from them. I also bought the cream version of this sweater and it is just as wonderful. The elbow patches are very well done and both sweaters were on sale for just under $40 each.

Honestly, I felt kind of stupid wearing such nice clothes while riding my big purple mountain bike with its big grippy tires. Haha. I need a really nice cruiser bike. I'd love to get a Schwinn Deluxe Breeze with some sweet chrome fenders and a headlight. That would have looked way more appropriate. :D~

Hey! Thanks so much! <3 Ah, I live in global war(ming) torn middle America. ;) It's been hot and cold on and off for awhile, but now the heat is really starting to pick up. I'm shy about showing a lot of skin, but I would expect to see me wearing a little bit less in coming posts (or layering with light fabrics). ;)

Oh my gosh, no. I wish?! When I was in Tokyo, I felt like I was in thrifting heaven! Japan is always on my mind. I'm back in the states now. It's just the weather is being really freakin' stupid, lately. Haha.

This outfit had me at the bowtie, but the more I look the more I love everything about it. The deep, rich blue and red together are great and that skirt- oh my! Isn't it nice too, when you rediscover something that was already in your closet. Can't wait to see more outfits using it.

Ok, so, we must be blog soul-mates or something, because I've taken to riding my big, clunky bike to work as well. I'm not sure how brain wavelengths work or if they can speed through a computer or whatever but I swear we have the same brain sometimes.

Also, a Japanese title? Man, you're too smart for me. Legit.

Lastly, you should win all of the earth for wearing a bowtie and if I was a lesbian/you happened to be a man there might be a possibility of me stalking you in the interest of dating.

So fun! We never had a game console (well, my sister did in high school but I was out of the house), but we loved this old 80s Miss Packman game that was at a local restaurant. Reminds me of that!
