The quirky mismatched weirdness continues with maximum ugly sweater power. Hehe. Well, I think the ugly sweater part is arguable. I mean, I love the vintage cardigan and the vintage animal sweater to pieces. I think they're amazing. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with (and a possible eye sore, but whatever hehe). If I lived in Harajuku, I would totally feel justified wearing this. It's Harajuku light. :D
It's not particularly loud and in-your-face. I'm clashing, but not to an extreme degree. The colors in the outfit are rather subdued. The ensemble is bizarre enough to garner attention, but not so crazy that it would stop traffic. Hehe. So, yeah. Harajuku light, if you will. :P The taupe pleated "skirt" is really a thrifted shirt dress. It's rather ill-fitting on me and I haven't been able to figure out why. It has an elasticized waist and the top part just looks frumptastic. Hence, I figured wearing something over it would be the best strategy. I love the color and the pleats. Also, the dress has small, shiny gold buttons on the bodice which I also like. So, I look forward to showing those off with a skirt at some point.
I know I've been dressing like an odd ball these past couple of weeks, but I *am* an odd ball, so what do you expect, really? Heh. I wonder what kind of weirdness I'll come up with next.... We shall see. ;D Oh and sorry about the whole disappearing hand thing. It was windy and I was cold. So yeah. Heh.
