Guys! What do you think about this orange hat? o_O Too much? Hehe. I felt like the outfit needed a bright pop of color, but I couldn't figure out what color to add. I think a golden yellow hat would have been nice, but I don't really have one, soooo. Yeah. I dunno. I guess the orange looks OK. Right? Riiiight? Yeah, it's whatevs. It's fine. Heh. Sooo, it's f*cking cold out there, now. Am I right? >_<
SO COLD! T_T Going to Florida for a week definitely set me back. I wore away some of the protective layers that I've built up from living up north for 10 years. Hehe. It has definitely been an adjustment, these past several days. Oh and, as you can see, it snowed...and the snow stayed. Bah! >_<
At any rate, I figured now was as good a time as any to bust out the heavy green cape coat. It's a real gem and it doesn't see the light of day as often as it should. I decided to use it as a canvas for a predominately earth tone ensemble. It's a really elegant cape coat, so I tried to dress it down and make it more casual with the neutral colored jeans and the cute vintage sweater vest that I thrifted, last year.
Fashion Mia Review
The dark green cardigan is from my sponsor, FashionMia. I have three green cardigans of various shades, but I really felt like I could use a casual forest green one. I don't know why it's not enough for me to just have one green cardigan. The different shades seem to matter immensely. Heh. Anyway, this particular cardigan is a bit thinner than I was hoping for and, as a one-size item, it *just* fits. I could have used something thicker and more over-sized. Still, I was able to stuff a cream colored sweater into it (it's underneath my sweater vest, but you can see the sleeves peeking out a bit at my wrists). ^_^
On the plus side, it's the exact color that I was hoping for and it's long enough to cover my backside. :D It will definitely be a great staple in the Spring/Fall. I was surprised by how closely the color matched my cape coat. I could barely tell where the bell sleeves of the coat ended, so that was nice. Hehe.
Initially, there was a mix-up with my package. The first one arrived, last month, but it had a different item inside. I contacted FashionMia and they re-shipped my order, though it took some time, since the cardigan was out-of-stock. When they re-shipped the item, it arrived within 2 weeks. So, from a customer service perspective, I was pleased with the transaction. Though, I was disappointed in the fact that it wasn't easy to tell which items were actually in-stock on the website. So, I'd be mindful of that bit.
