Yay! The weekend is almost here! Here's the perfect track to get you through the day. This is from Eric Elbogen's 2009 album, "Oohs & Aahs." It's super chill, lo-fi goodness. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!
Originally from California, Elbogen moved to Brooklyn after graduating from UCLA and formed the band, "Say Hi To Your Mom." Right now, the band calls Seattle home. Elbogen released his debut album, "Discosadness" in 2002 and hasn't looked back since. Between 2006 and present, Elbogen released seven albums and two singles. His latest release is a collection of instrumental tracks he produced for a film called, "Free Samples" (May 2013). That album is comprised of many short tracks, most less than two minutes long in length and they appear to be situational in nature. Not exactly danceable. Haha. So, I'll share one of my favorites from Elbogen's 2011 album, "Um, Uh Oh."
That's Track 4. It's a pretty catchy tune, yeah? :D Check out Elbogen's Facebook page for additional info and tracks! I'm saving the best for last, so be sure to check back tomorrow for more indie picks!
