Here's a rad track from Oh No Oh My! of Austin, Texas! This is from the group's May 2006 self-titled debut album. It was actually this album that got me into the band. Their lyrics are whimsical and carefree, making their music perfect for summer time lounging. I'd love to see these guys play live!
The band consists of Greg Barkley, Joel Calvin, Daniel Hoxmeier and Tim Regan. Subsequent to 2006, the group released four EPs and two additional albums. It's so rad! I love the palpable retro flavor. It reminds me of something The Beatles would produce. I find that this band is quite similar to indie groups like Peter Bjorn and John and Tame Impala. I can't believe the entire album is FREE! :D The group has a modest following on Facebook and their SoundCloud page is updated fairly regularly, so be sure to check those out! This is a band to keep your eye on!
