Song of the Day: Todd Edwards - Never Far... (2-Step) Signing Off..

Sending you off with something comparatively lighter and fun. This is a great remix of Todd Edwards' 1998 single, "Never Far From You."
Edwards began music production in the mid-90s and he released his first single, "Restless Soul" in 2001. There are no albums to date, but you'll find a slew of singles, EPs and DJ Mixes through 2013. Edwards' latest UK Garage EP is "Shall We Go" (Mar. 2012) and he also self-produced a digital collection of house music called, "Essential Edits," in December 2013.

The track above is from the Shall We Go EP. So good! Check Edwards' SoundCloud for his latest work!  Happy Friday! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Tune in next week for hip hop! :D

Yesssssssssss. Perfect for Friday! Bringing the break beats back with this fantastic March 2011 single from NuBreed. I highly prefer the instrumental version, but I can't find it anywhere. Sorry! >_<

The group is comprised of Danny Bonnici, Jason Catherine and Michael Walburgh of Melbourne, Australia. Their debut and only album to date is, "The Original" (Dec. 2003). NuBreed released their first EP entitled "Welcome" in 2000 and steadily produced quite a few singles and EPs through 2011.

Their latest release is a collaborative single from March 2011 called, "Intercontinental."
It's a pretty bad ass fusion of electro, breaks and dubstep and you can listen to one of its many remixes below.

I've got a 2-step classic to sign off with later this evening, so keep checking back! Happy Friday! :D

Song of the Day: PQM - You Are Sleeping (Tech-House/Prog House)

I know this isn't breaks/2-step, but I'm still throwing it into this week's mix tape. It's dark and cerebral, but it's also perfect. Hehe. This track is Manuel Napuri's 2002 single. PQM or "Prince Quick Mix" has been active in the electronic music scene for over a decade. Napuri released his first single in 1988 and a slew of singles and EPs followed through the late 2000s. Check his website for his latest releases!
