 It wouldn't be Friday without ODahl! Get ready! You're going to like this one! This is a single ODhal released in 2010, I believe. It's the kind of infectious track that just makes you want to dance. :DDD Here's what I know about ODahl. His name is Olle Dahlberg; he hails from Stockholm, Sweden and he loves Nu Disco and Electro House. Dahlberg is a bit of a new kid on the block, having released his first EP in 2010. His third EP is called "Out of Control" from March 2011. Listen to the first track below! Dahlberg can do no wrong, apparently. Every sound he manipulates turns to aural gold. :P Oh and check this! He's got a brand new EP out from late January 2013 called "Kids Lingo/Isglass." I can't find links to tracks that you can listen to, but I'll post one or two as they become available. For now, I'll leave you with a kick ass track Dahlberg uploaded to his Soundcloud page from 2012 called "Soul Music." It certainly lives up to its name! This is Maethelvin's demo track from September 2009 which appears on the "Neoteri - White Light Mix." It has a palpable electro and retro flare that I think you'll dig. Give it a listen! Not much is known about this elusive artist other than that he is from France and that he apparently likes to sip cocktails near the pool and listen "to the quiet sound of the mysterious night." Well, who doesn't, really? I mean, come on. Haha. ;D Maethelvin first appeared on the music scene in 2009 and he has steadily released a slew of singles and at least one EP since then. Maethelvin's latest release is the "As We Were" single of March 2013. You can listen to that track below! Next time I play an SNES RPG, I'm going to just disable the in-game music and listen to Maethelvin, starting with this track. :D So awesome! Check out his SoundCloud page for more electro goodness! |
