I had a hard time locating the album or EP for this song, so I'm guessing it's an unreleased single. It's so, so good. If you've never heard of the Visionaries, this track will serve as an excellent introduction!
The group, which formed in the mid-90s, is comprised of six members: Alex Ocana, Dannu, James Kelly, Kikuo Nishi, Lord Zen and Nazareth Nirza. Together, they released four albums total and a slew of singles and EPs through 2008. Their debut album called, "Galleries," came out in 1997. Since then, the group has collaborated with greats such as Nas, Common, Mos Def and Blackalicious.
The Visionaries' latest album is "We Are The Ones (We've Been Waiting For)" (2006). I like Track 5 from that album quite a bit, so I pulled that one for your listening pleasure. :D Check it out!
