The Verbrilli Sound is Don Verbrilli of Vancouver. Today's track is number one on Verbilli's latest album, "Caliph Web" (2011). It is supremely chill. The Caliph Web album is perfection. This is the album you want playing immediately as you open the front door from a hard day's work. Just walk straight to your liquor cabinet, grab yourself a tumbler of whiskey, sit back, relax and enjoy.
Caliph Web is a bit of a major release for Verbrilli as he hadn't produced anything since his February 2003 full length album, "Leisure War." Personally, my favorite Verbrilli Sound album of all time is "Many Coloured Butterflies" (2000). When I first heard that album, I was just completely and utterly blown away. The most listened to track on that album, for me, is "Te Miro." In my opinion, it is just timeless.
I'll be in love with that track for the rest of my days. It's just brilliant. Give it a listen!
This isn't the full track, unfortunately, but if you like it just go to your local record store and get the album or buy it on iTunes! It's really worth the investment. I listen to the album really often.
Whether this is your first time listening to The Verbrilli Sound or you're a long-time fan, like me, I hope you enjoy these tracks! It'll be the best in chill out, ambient and lounge this week, so come on back!
