The Jazzment is an instrumental hip hop and soul group from the Netherlands. It is comprised of MARWZ and Nuno BC. Not much is known about them except that they released four albums. The first album entitled "Beats | Old Stuff" was released in January 2011. The track above appears as #13 on the group's third album, "After Soul," released in November 2011.
Their music is super chill and perfect for an evening of lounging on the deck while watching the sun set or a cool early morning subway ride for work, school or play. I find that it's best to experience this sound deep in the city while surrounded by moving things. It helps put things into perspective.
The group's latest album is "Bipolar Outflows" released in May 2012. It's rich, smooth and full of flavor like a delicious, jazzy flat white. A particular favorite from that album is Track 2 entitled "A Wild Forest Called Jazz." Enjoy! It'll be hip hop all week long, so stay close!
