It doesn't get much better than this, folks! This is Track 3 from Strange Fruit Project's debut album, "From Divine" (2002). If this is your first time hearing about these guys, then you're in for a treat!
This underground hip hop group from Waco, Texas (of all places!) consists of Anthony Ligawa, Kevin Gaither, Larry Griffin. They used Billie Holiday's civil rights song, "Strange Fruit" as the inspiration for their group name. Since their debut in 2002, the group released an additional five albums and a handful of singles and EPs. It seems like things dropped off after 2011, though. Their latest album is called "A Dreamer's Journey" and it appears that you can only find it/buy it on Bandcamp. Here's Track 2:
