Here's Greg Hughes' and Tessa Murray's single, "Endless Summer," released in June 2011. This track also appears as #3 on Still Corners' latest album entitled "Creations of an Hour" (2011).
Hughes, an American citizen, went to London to pursue a music career. Apparently, he met Murray on a train going to the London Bridge. Just goes to show: sometimes good things happen by accident. =)
According to Hughes, the Endless Summer single is about "wishing and chasing after the fleeting sun of England and wishing for an endless summer--or at least a summer that would go on a bit longer." (Quoting Sub Pop Records interview with Hughes).
It seems that summer is pretty much an after-thought right now, but that doesn't mean we can't still long for the next one. =) Happy Friday, folks!
