Here's a nice end to the week. This is a track from the band's August 2010 album, "Bad Pop." It's the perfect track for a lazy, summer afternoon. I wish it was July, right now. I totally do. Hehe. Soft Powers is comprised of Dylan Anderson, Bo Fletcher and Gage Gilmore of Georgia. The band doesn't have much of an internet presence, so I'm unable to point you to an official webpage. Their Bandcamp link is broke like woah and that was their only band page. Haha. I dunno man. I dunno.
Anyway, I believe the "Bad Pop" album was their debut album. They've also released a couple EPs and singles since then. The band's latest album is "Outlandish Scandals" from March 2011. I love Track 9, "Meher Baba." It reminds me of early Mars Volta. It has a rather outlandish, dark, foreign vibe.
