I wasn't quite sure if Patryk Molinari was the force behind Ryko or not. This track doesn't show up on Beatport and according to Discogs, Ryko and Molinari are one and the same. So, I just went with that. Hehe. Feel free to leave a comment and correct me, if I messed up! It appears that the track below is an unreleased single, from when I don't know. It's pretty rad, though! Born in Germany, Molinari began to dabble in music production around the age of 18. At that time, one of his major influences was Kruder & Dorfmeister. In 2009, Molinari released his debut EP, "Retrospektiv." This was followed by another EP in 2010 entitled "Who Am I." Perhaps that title was chosen on purpose, because the listed artist for the EP is "Ryko & Patryk Molinari." Haha. Hence my initial confusion as to whether there were two different artists or just one.
It seems that from 2011 onward, Molinari ditched the "Ryko" moniker and decided to use his real name, instead. Since 2011, Molinari produced another three EPs and a handful of singles. His latest releases are the "Addiction To The Vibe" (Dec. 2013) and "I Got Soul" (Dec. 2013) EPs. You'll notice that the first track on the Addiction To the Vibe EP is a slower version of the track above with vocals mixed in. So, this pretty much confirmed that Ryko & Molinari are linked.
