Starting the week off right with some kick ass disco house from Plej (pronounced "Play"). This band is from Gothenburg, Sweden and it was formed in 2000 by Arvid and Erik Niklasson. The brothers released their first album in 2003 entitled "Electronic Music From The Swedish Leftcoast."
The track above is #8 on that album. Plej's sound is similar to that of Royksopp. However, their music has a more palpable house vibe which catapults it from the realm of lounge beats to an infinitely danceable, liquid bass dreamscape.
Below is Track 5 from the group's latest album, "Home Is Where Your Heart Is" (2008). It's a rich, supple deep house tune. I love it and I think you will, too. =)

It's a shame that the duo hasn't released anything new in the last three years. I eagerly anticipate the group's next release. They've left us with a lot of good music to keep us satiated until then, however. ;D Check out their full discography and listen to their latest tracks on SoundCloud.
